On the 10th of December we are going to the famous Jabal Moussa Biosphere Reserve which represents a rich cultural and natural heritage.

Trail details:

Our hike will start at Baydar El Shawk - Qehmez (1400m) main entrance, taking the Peony Trail, then continue our hike on the Juniper Trail towards Qornet el Mzar (1600m), the highest summit of Jabal Moussa that shelters ruins of a Roman temple and amazing 360⁰ view on the diverse landscapes surrounding Jabal Moussa; a true mix of nature and culture. From there we continue in an easy downhill hike towards the Cross of Yahchouch that was erected by Yahchouch youths on the summit of Jabal Moussa, overlooking the historical Adonis Valley. From the Cross we head to the Old Houses (Al-Byut), and continue until we reach our ending point in Mchati.
