Creating your events

Lebtivity is by nature a social calendar, it is a free tool that connects event organizers with their potential fans, but its most important feature is that it is fed by the Users themselves. If you are organizing an event make sure that you post it on Lebtivity to share it with the rest of the community!

Here's how to do it:

  • Make sure you're logged in to Lebtivity through your facebook account by clicking on the "Connect" button found on the upper right corner of the website.
  • Click on the green "Add an event, it's free!" button on the upper right corner of the website.

There are three simple ways to create/import an event:

  • Are you creating an event from scratch? Just fill out the necessary information in the provided form.
  • If this is one of your events on Facebook (just 3 steps!):
    1. Click on the "Import my facebook events" button found on the right side of the page: Lebtivity fetches and displays a list of your Facebook events.
    2. Click on the event you would like to import: Lebtivity imports and fills out the information in the "Add an Event" form.
    3. Review your data (especially the image clarity), choose the tags that best describe your event, and click on "Suggest Event"!
  • If you know the Facebook event page but it's not one of your events (2 steps only!):
    1. Copy the Facebook event page URL & paste it in the "Facebook Page" field in the form: Lebtivity fetches and fills out the information in the "Add an Event" form.
    2. Review your data (especially the image clarity), choose the tags that best describe your event, and click on "Suggest Event"!

As soon as the event is suggested, we will have a look at it, validate it, and publish it online within a maximum of 24 hours!

Editing an existing event

Did the event venue change? Was it postponed? Do you have an updated image or additional details? Whenever you have updated information about your created event, you can directly edit them online and a notification will be sent to all users who picked the event informing them of critical changes.

Here's how to do it:

  • First make sure you are logged in.
  • Click on the button that says "Hi [Your Name]", and in the appearing menu, click on "My created events" to see all your created events.
  • Choose the event you want to edit & click on the edit button found on the lower left corner of the event box.
  • When the event's edit page opens, you can:
    • Modify the image or text or
    • Import the data again from facebook.
  • When you're done, click on the "Save Event" button in the lower right corner of the page.

Cancelling an event

Was the event cancelled? Whenever you cancel an event, notifications will be sent to all users who picked the event informing them of the change.

Here's how to do it:

  • First make sure you are logged in.
  • Click on the top right button that says "Hi [Your Name]", and in the appearing menu, click on "My created events" to see all your created events.
  • To cancel your event, choose the event you want to cancel, click on the arrow next to the edit button found on the top right corner of the event box and choose "event was cancelled".
  • You will be asked to confirm the cancellation, click "OK" to confirm.
