Alexander Technique Weekend Workshop

Following the success of his first workshop in November 2018, Oliver Lee is delighted to be returning to Beirut.

This workshop will begin on Friday evening and continue for two full days on Saturday and Sunday. It's suitable for people who attended Oliver's first workshop, have had Alexander Technique lessons before and for those who have no previous experience of this life enhancing work.

Since it was developed by Frederick Mathias Alexander over 100 years ago, people around the world have studied the Alexander Technique. Principle based and highly versatile, the Technique can help anyone with anything they do in life.

Learning the Technique can help you bring more ease and efficiency into everyday activities like sitting, walking and talking, and improve your performance in more specialised fields such as sports and martial arts. Many actors, musicians and dancers have also found the Technique invaluable as a way to access greater freedom and creative expression.

The Interactive Teaching Method (ITM) approach to teaching the Alexander Technique is informal, light-hearted and very approachable. Expect to be asked to think, have your ideas challenged and to laugh a lot!

Oliver Lee has been an Alexander Technique tutor at the world-renowned Bristol Old Vic Theatre School since 2007. As well as teaching the Technique, Oliver is a trainer of new ITM teachers. He is also an award winning copywriter and an experienced actor and director.

Places on the workshop are limited, so if you would like to attend, please book promptly to be sure you can attend.

Workshop fee: $250
