About the tour:

The goal of the 2 hour tour of Beirut is to become acquainted with the history, politics, religious diversity, financial crisis, the October 17 - 2019 protests, the Civil War (1975-1990) and the Beirut Blast.

-Among the places we will visit or see is:

-Martyr’s Statue

-the Al-Amine Mosque (from outside)

-the Saint George Maronite Cathedral (from outside)

-the ruins of the center of the Roman city of Berytus

-the “I love Beirut” Sign

-Beirut Souks + Zaha Hadid Building

-the farmer’s market (on Saturdays only)

-Zeituna Bay

-Saint George Hotel and Assassination spot of Ex-prime minister Rafic Harriri

-Old Holiday Inn
