The path to renewing, restoring and healing is extending further at Union Square, because we know oh so well that in a world of constant overwork, and over stimulus, it is imperative to find a meditative sanctuary. A blend of Hatha and Therapy Yoga that will embark you on an inward healing journey and give you at least an hour and a half TWO DAYS per week when you are completely cared for. Strengthening, restorative and meditative movements mixed with breath awareness will leave you in the zone. Whether you are recovering from an illness, pregnant, suffer from nagging pains or just need to be treated with TLC, and ancient wisdom, this class is for you.

Caters to the tired, weary, and ill but also to all the healthy ones in need of a serious chill.

With a major in Molecular Biology and Genetics, the Science of Yoga revealed itself to Maya showing the actual discipline of nature as of early 2006. Seeking the traditions, she went for her Hatha Yoga Teacher Training course in 2008 (Satayananda) and had the chance to start sharing this journey of teaching early 2009.

She followed other heartfelt calls to Greece in 2009 and 2010 (Thai Yoga Massage and Prenatal Yoga), India early 2011 (Ayurvedic Massage & Panchakarma), Nepal in 2009 (Vipassana) and Peru in 2011 (Shamanic journeying). Her latest was more than a two months trip to her school again where she took an Advanced training in Yoga and a Yoga Therapy course. Each training received and practices shared establish an ongoing process of unveiling and nourishment. A journey of connection and being part of the whole, in the “heart”.
