WHAT TO EXPECT
The journey will start with a breakfast stop on our way.
Upon our arrival to Tyre, We’ll visit “Al Bass Archaeological Site”: roman ruins and roman streets, impressive monumental archway and a well preserved Roman hippodrome
Then we’ll start our walk by visiting Al Mina archaeological roman ruins, as well as a Crusader cathedral and mosaic streets
We’ll continue our walk to the small but the most picturesque fishing harbor of Tyre, with its colored wooden and old-fashioned boats
As we walk around the harbor, we’ll come to the city’s Christian quarter, where there are six churches, surrounded by narrow, winding residential streets, some lined with old houses; heading south, there are fantastic views of the sea.
Then we‘ll take Tyre’s Ottoman-era-souks, that are lively and interesting to explore
We’ll end our tour with a delicious traditional fish lunch at “Le Phenicien” restaurant located at the picturesque harbor of Tyre.
Our trip will be extended to Naqoura & Bayyada area for a short visit to explore its beautiful blue coast and white rocks, if the time permits.
