Yoga is an activity that children enjoy very much as it provides a space of exploration and expression through their bodies; it is also great for their health and well being. Practicing yoga realigns the skeleton body, increases height, stabilizes growth hormones, builds balance, and maintains emotional and physical wellbeing. The results will bring us comfort in knowing our children will grow healthy and happy.

In this Yoga class, the movements are dynamic, releasing excess energy, building the upright posture and physical conditions of the child. Children will be guided through warm ups and stretches to prepare their bodies. Then a flow is created bringing together the many aspects of the practice, through different yoga postures, introducing their names, of which are related to animals and nature, simple breathing techniques for focus and relaxation, and how to breathe correctly; much more will be introduced as they integrate it into their lifestyle. Moreover, Sound exercises are a way to learn how to use their voice, exploring vocal chords, and learning how to express through the internal and external sound. The last 20 minutes of the class is where they will explore sound and music; playing the drum is another way of realigning the left and right hemispheres of the brain, developing coordination, listening, and playing together.
