Course objectives:
Describe the purpose of the OH&S management system with reference to the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA model), including the principals, processes and selected techniques used for the assessment of risk and the significance of these in OH&S management system including OHSAS 18002 Guidelines for implementation.
Explain the scope of OHSAS 18001 management system standard and where applicable, other criteria (e.g. OH&S legislation) against which OH&S audit could be performed.
Plan, conduct, report and follow up on OH&S management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011 ISO 17021 and by interpreting the requirements of OHSAS 18001

Course methodology:
This is an interactive course;
Participants are expected to share their experiences by active participation throughout all parts of this training program
Participants will be divided into appropriate teams for workshops & real cases
A manual will be supplied which will support development of the course by helping participants to structure the main acquired competencies
