A musical meeting between guitarist and sound artist LILJA (NO) and the sound of Beirut. Lilja creates a meditative soundscape which seeks its inspiration from natural music and traditional music from different places in the world, and from the present moment. This evening she will collaborate with local artists from the music scene of Beirut, exploring the possibilities and beauty in a meeting in the universal language of music.

is a versatile and innovative guitarist from Oslo's jazz and world music scene. She has had projects in Asia, Africa, Middle East, New York and Europe, and collaborated with many great names in jazz and traditional music from around the world. Currently she is current with the band Moksha debut album "The Beauty of an Arbitrary Moment" (Jazzland Records), Bugge Wesseltoft's New Conception of Jazz, in addition to her projects with sitarvirtuos Ustad Ashraf Sharif Khan (PK) and a trio with saxophonist Marthe Lea (NO) and gnawa master Zakaria Houaouara (MA).

Sortie de la scène jazz et world d’Oslo, elle s’est produite sur différentes scènes en Asie, en Afrique, au Moyen-Orient, à New York et à travers l’Europe et a collaboré avec des grands noms du monde du jazz et de la musique traditionnelle du monde entier.
Elle tourne en ce moment avec son groupe Mokshas suite à la sortie de leur premier album «The Beauty of an Arbitrary Moment» (Jazzland records) et aussi avec New Conception of Jazz de Bugge Wesseltoft. De plus, elle collabore à plusieurs projets dont un avec le virtuose de cithare pakistanais Ustad Ashraf Sharif Khan et un, en trio, avec la saxophoniste norvégienne Marthe Lea et le maître de gnawa marocain Zakaria Houaouara.
