Meet the Architect: Lifehaus Passive House

Would you like to learn how the first self-sustainable house in Lebanon is being built?
Why is conventional construction industry bad for the environment and what are the architectural, on site and human challenges for building a self-sustainable house? Join us on December 3rd at 5:30 pm for the “Meet the Architect: Lifehaus Passive House” seminar with Nizar Haddad

The architect will be going to tackle the different systems that makes it passive and self-sufficient (Canadian well, thermal mass storage, natural and reused material, water management, solar power etc.), how this kind of design re-questions conventional construction industry and modifies its process and the legal and financial aspects (permit, green-loan). As a first experience of its kind, lots of volunteers participated, and we’re going to talk about the pros and cons of such interventions and its community aspect.

By spreading awareness & knowledge, we’re aiming to ignite change and we want you to be a part of it too!
The Circular Hub is a learning space for broadening your knowledge about a wide range of topics ranging from the environment & the circular economy to sustainability issues, climate change as well as eco & social entrepreneurship, through a wide variety of seminars, workshops, activities, and games.
