Prenatal yoga is created to meet the special needs of pregnancy and to deepen the union between you and your growing baby as you strengthen and relax your body, calm your mind, increase blood circulation and prepare for easier childbirth through yoga poses, breathing & relaxation techniques, and stretching and toning of the muscles used during labor and delivery.
It is your chance to relieve some of the common pregnancy discomforts like lower back pain, swelling of the legs, as well as releasing tension, worries and stress, to be ready and comfortable for birth.
Prenatal Yoga is also a great way to meet and bond with other pregnant women who are going through similar experiences and to become part of a supportive community.
This class is suitable for all stages of pregnancy.
Remember that your body is creating a miracle, and there are many internal changes going on so you will need to be calm and patient.
