🏞️Hiking the Wetlands of Ammiq Reserve with Lebanon by Nature

- Option 1 ~7 Km (~3 hours including breaks)
- Option 2 ~10 Km (~4 hours including breaks)

🌳 Description:
You will have an amazing trip to the famous wetlands of Ammiq, located in West Beqaa.
This area is the last significant wetlands in the country, a remnant of extensive marshes and lakes that once covered parts of the Beqaa Valley.

The swamp lies on one of the most important bird migration routes in the world, and over 250 species of birds have been recorded in the area, like endangered Eagles and Falcons.
It also has a bird watching tower, where observation of migrating water birds en route between Europe and Africa takes place.

Other important mammals were recorded as well like the Jungle Cat and Ferruginous Duck.
We will have several breaks during the trip as well as an optional long dedicated stop for lunch (don’t forget your healthy snacks and lunch).
You will also have enough time to take some really cool shots.
