Founded in October 2010 in Stuttgart-Germany, three devoted students of the University of Music and Performing Arts; Sooksan Ratanapol, See Eon Kim and Jana Semaan; started rehearsing on a regular basis and attending lessons and master classes with the most professional German and international chamber musicians, like Florian Wiek, Norbert Kaiser, Elena Cheah, Friedemann Rieger, Stephan Forck and Stefan Fehlandt (Vogler Quartet) ,Vebjørn Anvik (Grieg Trio) among others.

Since its beginning, the trio has been performing in Stuttgart and the south German region several times and was asked to play in special occasions of the Rotary club and others, because it represents the high level of the German music education and specially because it mixes a variety of cultures and nationalities in harmony together.

For the coming three weeks, (mid-August till mid-September 2012) the trio is taking part at the international summer academy for chamber music Niedersachsen, in the lower Saxony in northwestern Germany, where the musicians will have intensive lessons with professional musicians, and series of concerts.

The trio will be working to plan other tours in some far East countries of Asia and to participate in competitions soon.

We believe SOOKSAN was a meerkat in his previous life. He is from Bangkok-Thailand, he also studied in Graz-Austria and Stuttgart-Germany and graduated as a Master clarinetist in February 2012 with distinction.
He is also a great cook !

Else then the music, SEE EON has the talent of sleep! She is from Seoul-South Korea. After achieving her school studies in Seoul she moved to Stuttgart where she got her Bachelor degree in Piano and now preparing for Masters.
See Eon has got many nicknames from her Trio colleagues, and still getting new ones. Her favorite color is blue.

A critic and appreciator of German beer is JANA.
She is from Byblos-Lebanon, she studied at the higher conservatory in Beirut, then in Stuttgart. She is a member of the West-Eastern Divan orchestra. She also created the project “Musik Überall”.
She doesn’t believe in too much practicing!

We wish you pleasant concerts!
Musically yours,
Subito Trio

We have been working on this project for several months now, we finally got some sponsorship and started planning the concerts in spring.

The idea is to present classical music on a high professional level, and to make people get to know more about it. Because it is not boring, nor funeral music…! Add to this, we want people to enjoy music for free ! so all concerts are free entrance.

The concerts will be moderated, this way we give the audience a better chance to understand the music and feel as an active participant in the concert. We believe that for an audience of non-musicians specially, moderation is necessary. It will be previously prepared and Jana will be giving some short explanation about the program in an interesting way.

The concerts locations cover main cities of the Lebanese coast (5 concerts), in order to give citizens in different locations the chance to attend. It would have been great if we could arrange more, but at least that for the first time!

We faced hard times to be able to arrange it the way we wanted because of lack of interest sometimes, but there is always people who appreciate music and arts !
As we were not looking for any financial gain or profit, we tried only covering the main costs of our travel, thank to “Gesellschaft der Freunde der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart“ it worked, and some others made it also possible , like “Universite Saint-Esprit de Kaslik”, Mrs Zorika Chahine and other musicians and non-musicians through their financial and/or moral support.

We are already excited and looking forward to playing in Lebanon!
