Training Ride - Kessrouan District (12 / 1 / 2014)

In partnership with Outdoor Generation and Bike Generation, CyclingCircle is organizing on the 12th of December 2014 a training ride in Kessrouan district, Mount of Lebanon.

Track passing by : Nahr el Kaleb - Kaslik - Jounie - Ghazir - Jdayde - Kfour - Ghine - Chahtoul - Aramoun - Dlebta - Ghosta - Harissa - Jounie - Nahr el Kaleb

1- Ride details :

+ Length of the track: approx. 50 km
+ Level : hard - 80% uphill ride
+ Bicycles : Road / Hybrid bike recommended
+ Duration: between 4h30min to 5h30min depending on the group’s speed, including the break stops.

2-Program:

8h30 - 8h55 a.m : Rally point in front of "Siwar" beach - Naher el Kaleb

9h00 a.m : We ride

+ Multiple stops on the way
+ Uphill starts from Ghazir
+ Participants joining in mountain bikes are recommended to have slick tires

3h00 p.m : arrival to Nahr el Kaleb

3- CyclingCircle and Outdoor Generation will be providing:

- Insurance (Commercial Insurance)
- 25 bicycles and helmets on site
- Cycling Marshals
- Support car (available in case of exhaustion)
- Maintenance and support

4- CyclingCircle and Outdoor Generation team are equipped with:

- Tool kit carried to undertake minor repairs
- First aid kit for simple wounds
- Spare bicycles to replace heavily damaged ones

5- What to bring:

- Bottle of water
- Small back pack (weight on your back should not exceed 3 kilos)
- Sunglasses
- Windproof jacket

6- Fees:
- Standard price: 45 000 L.L
- Riders with own bicycles: 15 000 L.L

XS : 1.65 - 1.69m
S: 1.70 - 1.74m
M: 1.75 - 1.79m
L: 1.80 - 1.85m
XL: 1.86 - 1.90m

- For under 18 years old: an email + a written and signed permit by your parents allowing you to participate.
